- "The Midas List" - Forbes Magazine
Forbes annual ranking of the Top 100 people who are most influential in creating wealth for their investors and building valuable and long lasting High-Technology and Life Science companies. Forbes surveyed 1,000 VCs, angels, bankers, recruiters and limited partners in developing the 2006 Midas List. In 2007, Forbes changed the candidate selection criteria for the "Midas List" and omitted certain types of service providers from consideration. Although no longer eligible for inclusion on the "Midas List," Devine and Virnig's tradition of investing in its pre-public clients and maintaining a high level of post-placement involvement remains constant and continues today.

A program co-sponsored by Coopers & Lybrand, Venture Law Group, and Silicon Valley Bank in 1997 to identify and recognize the individuals and firms who were helping to turn "Entrepreneurial Dreams into Economic Reality" through outstanding service to High Technology companies in Silicon Valley. The sponsors surveyed over 4,000 corporate executives and venture capitalists to identify the best providers in various service categories.
